The food we eat and drinks, the energy comes in from us. Three nutrients used for energy are carbohydrates, proteins and fats. The main source of energy from these three is carbohydrate. When the carbohydrate ends in the body, then your body uses proteins and fats for energy. When you eat something, your body divides the nutrition into small pieces and absorbs them to be used as fuel. This process is called metabolism or metabolism.


Complex carbohydrates such as high-fiber cereals, hole-grain breads and pasta, dry beans etc. give long lasting energy. This is because they take more time to digest. Complex carbohydrate balances your body's sugar level, which causes less insulin to form. This gives you a feeling of satisfaction and you feel less hungry. Protein from chicken, turkey, pork, and fish increases the amount of energy in your diet, and the fat you get from eating avocado, flakes, nuts and some special oil also enhances your body energy.
In order to maintain energy, sufficient quantities of liquids are also necessary. Water helps to digest, absorb, and transform nutrients into energy. Water deficiency or dehydration can also cause energy deficiency. An average person should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.


Ordinary carbohydrate should be taken in limited quantities. From candy and cookies to sugar beverages, all of them have simple carbohydrates that the body quickly absorbs. The body gets enough energy for 30 to 60 minutes of their intake but they are digested so quickly that they become obese later on. You should also stay away from alcohol and caffeine. Alcohol can increase depression and lower your energy level, while caffeine usually gives the initial one-two hours energy, later it is damaged.


If you want you to get energy throughout the day, take three meals a day and snack three times a day. Do not be hungry for more than three-four hours because if you are hungry you will eat more. Also, eat food every time you eat all the nutrients. Remember, in the diet that contains more fiber, protein and fat, it takes a long time to digest. How busy you are, how much work you are surrounded, but it is important that you make your diet nutritious. Have a diet that will give you nutrition and energy. If you do, your body will thank you.
